Zinc rich coating produces sacrificial protection to stop rust and corrosion on all metal surfaces. Any deterioration leads to rust and/or corrosion of the coating rather than the metal surface. Equivalent to hot dip galvanizing in cathodic protection and film durability and protects against caustic action salt spray. It resists peeling, blistering, rust, weather, gasoline and oil. The compounded from metallic zinc dust, leaves a matte finish. 

 

Zinc spray (cold galvanizing spray) is an aerosol or industrial coating that deposits a zinc-rich film on metal to provide sacrificial corrosion protection and repair damaged galvanizing. It’s widely used for touch-ups on welded seams, cut edges, and areas where hot-dip galvanizing is impractical.
